ATTENTION
Effective, January 1st, 2018 the building permit fees have been amended to increase as per the approved City Council Resolution No. 2989-17.

The Atwater City Council has requested that information be provided to the public regarding proposed changes in the assessment districts for the 2017-18 Fiscal Year – tax year.

Garage Sales may only be held on the first and third Friday, and/or Saturday, and/or Sunday of each month between the hours of dawn and 4:00 p.m., including setup and take-down. The driveway, yard or other space used for the garage sale shall be restored to normal residential character at the conclusion of the garage sale.

Watering Regulations:
Consumers shall not irrigate any lawn or landscaped area between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM on any day of the week.
This includes hand watering!
Watering hours are: View Schedule
12:01 AM to 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM to 11:59 PM
Even numbered addresses are assigned watering days on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Odd numbered addresses are assigned watering days on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
WATERING ON MONDAYS IS PROHIBITED.

Counter/Window Hours:
Finance Counter/Window & Police Records: Mon. – Fri. Finance 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Police: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (closed from noon to 1:00) for citizens to conduct business. Police emergency services will continue to be provided 24 hours per day.
Building Division Window: Mon. -Thurs 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Community Development Dept: Mon. through Thurs 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
