The City of Atwater
We would like to welcome Castle Air Museum‘s newest member of the family: The Grumman A-6E Intruder! 🎉 Having flown it’s last flight with the U.S. Navy 24 years ago under the command of then Lt. Junior Grade Greg Smith USN (Ret.), it will be enjoying it’s retirement on display for museum visitors for years to come. This was the last A-6E to have served in the Navy. It will be taking a three day journey from Tucson Arizona and will be arriving at the Castle Air Museum’s restoration hangar (3040 A Street, Castle Airport) on Friday, March 5th at 8:00 AM.
