City of Atwater—ADA Statement

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) prohibits all state and local governmental agencies from discriminating against persons with disabilities and from excluding participation in or denying benefits of programs, services, or activities to persons with disabilities.

The City of Atwater is dedicated to ensuring that all City programs, services, benefits, activities, and facilities operated or funded by the City are fully accessible to, and useable by, people with disabilities.

The City Manager’s Office oversees implementation and local enforcement of the City’s obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other federal and state disability civil rights laws and accessibility laws.

Service Requests and Informal Complaint Process

Complaints, grievances, concerns, or recommendations regarding public access to any of the City programs, services, or activities should be reported to the Compliance Officer, who will immediately begin to resolve the matter.
