The initial rate increases for solid waste collection services became effective on September 1, 2023. Annual rate adjustments become effective on July 1 of each of the subsequent four years (2025 to 2028). It is proposed that solid waste rates in 2024 to 2028 increase to keep pace with the projected cost of services provided by Mid Valley Disposal as well as administrative costs incurred by the City.
