MERCED, CALIFORNIA — The Merced County Community and Economic Development Department is currently seeking public input on the 2025 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy, or CEDS.
The CEDS is a locally-driven planning process aimed at enhancing capacity and directing economic prosperity and resilience in the region.
The CEDS process serves as a platform for individuals, local officials, private industry, and other stakeholders to participate in constructive dialogues regarding the most effective economic development strategies for our county.
The completed CEDS will serve as a roadmap for future economic development efforts and provide supporting documents when applying for federal grant funding to complete projects that align with the priorities identified within the CEDS.
