The City of Atwater offers a variety of housing assistance programs to qualifying residents focusing on:
- Homebuyer Assistance (Gap Financing)
- Housing Rehabilitation
Through these programs the City hopes to assist in providing quality affordable homes. Our Neighborhood Stabilization Program offers help to purchase foreclosed homes to people who make more money than allowed on the other housing programs. Funding for these programs is provided through a variety of State Grants incuding the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), CalHOME, and HOME.
