The City of Atwater is ready to accommodate new development through the organizational structure of the Community Development Department.
Under this department all aspects related to initiating a new development project or a redevelopment project are managed. The various divisions comprising the department assist developers and stand ready to assist our citizens in understanding the changes occuring in the community as well as the local and legal requirements pertaining to development and construction.
